Happy Monday, my friends! It is always hard to get back to routine after a break, short or long. Apart from jet lag, I am also suffering over-eating syndrome and the resulted extra pounds. Not a dramatic increase, but significant enough to make certain outfits less flattering. 🙁
What do you do when you put on weight? Take them off or cover up? My plan is before I take them off completely, I will try to cover up, hehehe. I am contemplating a well-being series that will include fitness, diet, skincare and beauty tips, to help myself, and hopefully, you, my cyber friends, to look and feel better! The series will launch later this week, in addition to my regular outfit posts. Before all that happens, let me show you my buffet-friendly, almost-white, summer outfit.
As you can see, in today’s outfit there is a winged top and straight leg pants, both are made of pure silk. When hold still, the outfit is roomy, allow some space for “growth” but when moving, they hug the body’s curve a bit so it won’t appear to be a cylinder.
The pale yellow flowers on the pants are less pronounced under strong sun light, hence, the “almost white” outfit. I’d imagine, a pair of Birkenstock would work in replacement of the flats, equally comfortable as well. With a book clutch in hand, which could fit a small version kindle, I am ready for an outdoor cafe, anyone?
Thank you very much for reading! Until my next post!
