BFF :: Lightweight Leather & Flounce Tweed

Hola, amigos! It is middle of the week and we are finally seeing some fine weather in the forecast! 🙂 As I’ve mentioned in my last post, I had a few friends in town this past weekend. They are my BFFs in the virtual world, we met right around the time we had our first child and now, there are eight boys in the clan!

What do girls like to do when get together? Shopping and chatting, of course! That was exactly what we did. Thanks to the unconditional support of our husbands, the four of us get to spend the entire Sunday together, doing nothing but girly stuff. Prior to leaving the house, we did a little make-over for each other, a dab of cheer color for W, some eye shadow for L, false lashes for some and jewelry for everyone. One thing I learned from doing my own makeup for this blog, is that false lash makes a big difference in photos. There are many options out there, what works best for me is this eyelash made in Taiwain.

Before the weekend, we have picked leather jacket as our common outfit item. Four jackets, four looks. One leather jacket might be cool, four is the bomb. 😀 We had a lot of heads turning as we strolled on M Street. Actually, I was wearing W’s jacket, the lightweight and softness of her jacket, worked well with my see-through silk blouse and flounce tweed skirt. Thanks L and W, for taking these photos. 🙂IMG_7304 IMG_7310 IMG_7314IMG_7377IMG_7356 IMG_7436IMG_7446

Then an idea came to me, why don’t have do some group photos that looks like genuine street style? A girl with a fancy camera was sitting outside of Olivia Macaron with her friend, we approached her for help. She was super nice and very accommodating. 🙂 Here is her work. If you are reading, nice girl, I want to thank you again for entertain our impromptu ideas, we had a lot of fun because of your help. ^^IMG_7395 IMG_7393 IMG_7400

The weekend went by so quickly, I wish I could spend more time with my beautiful friends. No matter where we are physically, our hearts stay close together. Life is better with you, my BFFs from the virtual world!

Thank you all for reading this post and let me share my happiness with you. See you in the next post!

Your girls are so funny! walking on street but in opposite directions : ) LOL!
Doesn’t the girl with red dress look like “looklook”?

    1. petiteflower

Hi Amei, that was the idea, we pretended to be strangers. 😀

      Yes, that was her. 🙂

Thanks for a fun day! Haha, it is not easy to be a human tripod–you have to be a moving one too:-) Huge salute to your husband!

Were all the four beautiful girls causing any traffic jam on that street? I can imagine how fun and exciting it was to hang out with best friends. Your smile is so beautiful and you look very tall among the girls.

    1. petiteflower

Thank you, Joyce! We sort of caused jam here and there because we paused to take photos. 😀 Actually, I am not the tallest, one of us is a few centimeters taller than me but she was wearing flat boots. We were just chatting about it off line — why she looked as tall as me while I had 4-inch heels on, hehe.

    惊见看看美女! 眼睛没花啊! 哈哈,你们太好玩了,真是一道美丽的风景!

Hahaha, it is fun to be spontaneous sometime. The girl who took out picture was super cool as well, couldn’t have done it without her.

What jumped into my mind when I looked at the last photo? — yes, “sex and the city”! Who do you think your resemblance among the 4 characters in the show? Carrie or Sam or Charlotte? 🙂

Among all four beautiful ladies, you are certainly the most eye catching one, probably because you possess “unfair advantage” over others, such as better knowledge on makeups plus walking and posing more like a model!

    Overall, nice show!!!

Thank you, SWQ, for the nice compliment! I believe every woman is beautiful in her own way. I found my girlfriends more beautiful than before as I get to know them better. 🙂
