Monochrome Burgundy :: Big Knit & Pleated Leather

Hello, my friends! As we are taking off shortly to escape this random spring /summer/winter weather we are having in NOVA, I have to keep this post super short, but it’d be sweet.

In the past, I’ve experimented with monochrome looks. With pattern, it is about repetition of the same print and focus on overall shape; with color, such as in today’s outfit, the focus is more about variations of texture. Big wool knits is so rich in texture, it works really well with smooth leather.

The little studs on the boots are additional texture but in a very subtle way.

Just to keep the whole look from being plain, I chose an exotic skin bag but neutral color, with gold-colored handle to coordinate with the rest of the hardware.acneknit (14 of 14) acneknit (10 of 14) acneknit (12 of 14)

Thank you so much for reading! See you in my next post!
