Hello, my dear friends! Last weekend, we took a ski trip to Someset, Pennsylvania. For the weekend, I packed mostly comfortable outfits that are both good for long rides and local expedition. The weather was not great for skiing, but it was perfect for sweatshirt and cropped jeans.
The combination of sweatshirt and denim is a classic casual outfit, the seasonal update is the giant grommet lace-up sleeves and the patched, raw edge, step hem jeans. These are trendy details, they will not be as fashionable the next season or the next year, so I would not splurge on them but rather get the high street alternatives.
Among the three pairs of boots I packed for the trip, these white sock boots got the most usage because of the rubber sole and low wedge design. The backpack came handy, too, as we have to spent long hours at the ski resort. It is large enough for snacks and camera, it was also waterproof which came handy when the snow was melting fast due to the warm weather. 😀
Someset is a small town, like many other small towns in the US, it has a very quaint downtown area with small shops, churches and a grand town hall. Naturally, we picked the steps of the town hall as our photo shoot location. I hope you are not disappointed that there was no snow in the backdrop.
Thank you so much for reading! See you in my next post!
