Going Places :: Bucket Bag & Chunky Heels

Hello, my friends! Something exciting is going to happen this weekend in the area, a long-anticipated event — our metro line will finally be opened to public! Only people in Northern Virginia can tell you how long and how complex the metro addition has been, but, several years after the original date, it is here!

Having the metro closer to home means a lot to us. We can now go places that used to take a lot of planning and effort to get to, including the other airport, train station downtown, stadium, events, venues, you name it! Not only we save money on parking, more importantly, we save time and energy. The boys will be super excited because they love riding trains. More photos sessions in the capital, hopefully, now we don’t have to worry about traffic going in and out of the city. It is all good!

Husband and I decided to check out the station today. It is currently empty, as you can see but I am sure it will be filled with commuters next week this time. 🙂5S6A9434 5S6A9421 5S6A9398

My outfit is predominately blue, to add some interest, I tied a stripe shirt around my waist as a belt. Paired with chunky heel sandals and a man’s hat, I looked as if I were a traveler who was resting before heading to my next destination! Now, I just need to work on that bucket list to put in my bucket bag. 😀

Handsome!. I like the socks, they connect the chunky heels with the shirtdress and balance the whole outfit.
