Merry Christmas, my dear friends! Wish you all a very happy holidays! First of all, please excuse my lack of updating as of late, we have been on the road since Tuesday, greetings from Florida! 🙂 In the next few posts, you will see outfits I wear during the trip, get ready for something thinner and lighter.
Today’s look is a holiday look we photographed back at home, an all-black one. The dress itself is very much like a ballet dress with skin tight top and puffy tulle skirt. The sleeves have white chiffon pleated details, which made the whole dress more street-ready. My first thought was to pair it with the Saint Laurent Babies pump I recently acquired, then balance the voluminous skirt with a structured but cropped outerwear. Eventually, I went with a cape-style leather jacket for both warmth and style.
It is quite uncharacteristic of me wearing nothing but black, this time is no exception. With the cropped coat and big skirt, I felt compelled to “cover up” my waist a bit so I put on a wide red velvet belt. Then I threw on a veiled beanie and crystal-embeslished tights for extra fun, now the finished look is, you know, very Christimas-y. I looked like I had on a reversed-elf or dark fairy outfit. ;D It might be redeemed borderline “too dark” for children’s birthday parties, but for a grown-up holiday gathering, why not? ^^
Thank you so much for reading! Until my next post!
