Hi there! It is Monday again, hope your week has had a good start. I feel mine set off in the right track for I, 1) hit my goal of exercise; 2) cooked dinner; and 3) (hopefully) publish this post before mid-night. A friend of mine once joked that I live by PST even though I am here on the East Coast. 😀 It remains my resolution of the year to get more sleep.
Old habits are hard to kick, aren’t they? Be it the food we eat, the routine we have, the way we walk, the clothes we pick, even the posture we have. Habits are not necessary all bad, we just got so comfortable making the same choices over and over. It is no joke that I could order husband’s meal for him at any Chinese restaurant before he shows up, the menu can be all different, his choice remains. My worst addiction, (haha, you must thought of shopping, no, I am not that bad), is snacking sweets after dinner. Constantly staying up late made matters worse because the later I sleep, more snacks I would eat.
Last week, I had an epiphany and determined to kick it! Out are all the crackers, scones and jam, in are roasted seaweed and Bai5. I probably won’t get visibly skinner (sorry, hehe), but the goal here is to be healthier and more energetic, because you know, to deal with the monster of hunger at mid-night, my resolution is to go to sleep. 😀
Thank you very much for reading! What would be your mid-year resolution, if you don’t mind sharing? We will be each other’s record keeper. 🙂 See you in my next post!
