NYR :: Splash Flowers & Dancing Pearls

Happy Wednesday, my friends! Today’s outfit was photographed in the morning of New Year’s Day. As I was post-processing the pictures, I noticed that the morning sun(rise) is not as warm / golden as the evening sun(set), it created a higher contrast as well. We start our new year in a similar fashion — lesser light and more things in the shadow, but we know there will be more visibility as the year progresses; Towards the end, we see everything, warm and fuzzy, however, soon darkness will follow and we are back to the unknown.

Have I lost you, with my near-buddist musing above? All that was just a lead to what I want to say next — my New Year Resolution. I want to do the following in the year of 2014 but I can’t tell you how far I can go yet one thing I do know now is I will be back to zero once these are accomplished or abandoned. 😀 All right, here they are: 1) sleep more, exercise more, eat less sugar (cliché!), 2) treat family & friends with more appreciation, and 3) try something new and visit somewhere new.

These resolutions came to me when I was chasing the waves in my very lady-like outfits, a pair of stilettos in hand. Throughout the year, events will unfold like the flowers on the dress, a burst of various colors to an unpredictable extend. One might seem random, together they form a pattern that is pleasant. Each great moment that one will encounter, is like a pearl in the pearl strand. The harder we jump, turn and kick, the better they dance. Now, I’ve lost you completely, hehe…

Hi Li Li, I like the first three more than the others. The third one is a relatively more graceful jumping picture of me. ;D
