Hi everyone! Even though it is September, the temperature doesn’t seemed to drop. The whole summer has been mild, overall, so it is comfortable to wear long sleeves. Last week, I wrote about getting ready for fall, I’ve been hoarding them since, now it seem like they have to stay in boxes a bit longer. 🙂
What I had on in today’s post was actually two separate pieces, a cropped top (last seen with wide-leg pants) and a tea-length skirt. Because the color and width of the stripes are so close, they looked as if they were a set. It is no secret recipe that repetition of the same pattern would have a bigger impact, we have been trying very hard to mix-n-match these days to look “effortless chic”, however, going back to some basics can be refreshing and eye-opening. ^^
Another thing I want to say about this outfit is it might appear to be costume-like because of the big hat, it really can be for many occasions, brunch, high tea, shopping, wedding…and if you are going to a garden party or country club, keep the hat. 😀
Life is too short for boring clothes, my friends! As the fashion world is busy peacocking in the month of September, why can’t we have a little fun?
Thank you very much for reading! See you in my next post!
