Hello, my dear friends! You might have notice, my publishing schedule has been off again, for the past couple of weeks. This is due to an extra curriculum activity my son has been taken on that evolved to a phase where more parental participation are needed. Mommies out there would know what that means, something else has to give. Pressing times like these, we “cheat” with minimal make up, shortened exercise routines, and no-brainer outfits. Even so, we don’t have to compromise on style. Today, I am going to show you a super easy way to update your work fashion.
The phase to remember is: cropped pant suit. Single color or pattern, cropped pants (slim or wide-leg), and a boxy jacket in the same color or pattern. There is no worries for pattern mix or color mix, a matching set always appears polished and stylish.
Accessorize of such a suit is easy pease, too. Simple nude or black pumps /sandals / loafers, will do, for an office-appropriate look. Pair with sneakers for off-duty, or fancy heels for night out.
For extra brownie point, I’d keep your shoe game up to date. Brands like M. Gemi makes updating one’s shoe collection super easy. The styles no fussy, classy and on point. Very affordable for high quality leather and craftsmanship. For this spring, I picked a pair of pointy toe pumps in taupe, a neutral color that is between nude and gray. The last time I bought a simple neutral pump was at least five years ago and it was a pair of dark nude Louboutin with almond toe. Apart from the toe shape, another key update is taller back. Not only it creates a wavy, sexier side view, the more fitted back keeps the shoe on better without digging into the heels. It is a design win as I see it.
Thank you so much for reading! Hope this post will give you some ideas to update your work style without spend either too much time nor $$. See you in my next post!
<special thank you to M Gemi for partnering with this post>
