Hello, my dear friends! It’s been a long leave of absence since my last post. We went on a three-week long family vacation in Italy, if anything I have learned from our previous family trips, is that blogging is impossible. I hope you could relate and still watch this space, because I have so much good things to share with you from the trip in the next few weeks: places to stay, things to do, foods to eat, and of course, fashion and style!
Before all that happens, we got back just in time for the peak of Americana – Independence Day. If you are not a flag-flaunting type of girl, maybe you want to give this one a try, a look that is definitely patriotic but not screaming July 4th. I like this maxi cardigan in particular because of the ombre effect on top of my favorite strip pattern, it is a unique twist to the classic.
The hat and shorty shorts will keep me cool while running last-minute errands under the blazing sun, and later on the striped sweater would keep me warm when the night falls and fireworks begin.
Switch to sandals if that is more comfortable for you. I chose the micro-studded cobalt pair for a little more glam since we are going to host a party. Intentionally avoided red shoes because that would take this whole look from subdued to hyper.
Thank you so much for reading! Wish you a wonderful holiday if you are celebrating the 4th! See you very soon in my next post!
