Hello, my friends! Hope you had a great weekend, it was so hot and humid outside, we spent most of ours indoors. Thankfully to this off-shoulder trend, that we can expose a bit more skin and look fashionable. If you are bit tired of it, or you are at a place where more skin exposure is allowed, a halter would be a great alternative in this hot weather.
This embroidered halter jumpsuit spoke to me when I was browsing for summer outfit inspirations. It looks fun and elegant at the same time. Normally, I stay away from halter style because of too much skin exposure, especially pairing with shorts or mini skirts, but this jumpsuit has wide-leg culottes, the combination of tun top and conservative bottom strikes the perfect style balance. Even if you don’t like jumpsuit, pairing halter top with a midi-length skirt or pants with good volume, is a good style tip to adopt. 🙂
Black is not my summer go-to color, either. It brings out the embroideries, however, in this case. With the semi-transparent line fabric, black is also a safer and more elegant color choice.
Decided on this pair of platform espadrilles because they are pretty minimal in style, so all the focus stay on top part of the whole look; In addition, these sandals add a bit more to my legs while keeping the overall vibes casual. With wide-leg pants that pass knee-length, I can use as much legs as I can get. ;D
Black cloth, black shoes, black hair…I really don’t want to join the Adam’s family in the midst of summer, so I kept the rest of the accessories lighter. This Hudson bag by Chloe, is my favorite bag for boho styles. It goes very well with the very popular off-shoulder, floral and ruffled styles. You will be seeing this bag on high repeat. If you are interested, the size I have is small, just about the right size for my borderline petite frame, very generous volume, fits all my everyday essentials.
Thank you so much for reading! I hope you are having a great summer and manage to stay cool! See you in my next post!
