Hello, my friends! Are you having a relaxing weekend? Finally, I could slow down a little and feel relaxed enough to make fun of myself again!
Most of you have watch the movie “Top Gun“, I assume? Tom Cruise in his green jumpsuit, aviator sunglasses, was my boy crush. I literarily gasped at the sight of his beauty. 😀 Now I have moved onto more mature, silver-haired crowd, i.e.. George Clooney, I never forgot how handsome jumpsuit could look. My affection was towards a thick fabric one, however, my attention has always been fixed on denim and the like. So when I first came across this green, gauze, all wrinkled number, I was not totally impressed. What sold it to me was the editorial of Dree Hemingway in Vogue, the jumpsuit looked ultra comfortable and very cool. I went back to where I found it, it went on further sale, it was a no-brainer!
The jumpsuit is light, breathy, and extremely comfortable! Love lounging around in it, and it didn’t make me feel like a total slob in it. The legs are kind of long, I guess that is how it designed to be. For my concern of height, I rolled up the edges and add a wide belt to define my waist, so I could avoid looking like one of the seven (adorable) dwarfs.
One thing I have to admit, I haven’t bought into the birkenstock trend whole-heartedly. Am testing water with chunky-heel sandals, still, I default to heels when in doubt. The dilemma was platform espadrilles that sort of matching the green color of suit, or black ankle cuff sandals? Eventually, despite the color-clashing of the black sandals and brown belt, I went with the sandals. Husband was happy with my choice, he said he like this pair much better. What do you think?
Thank you very much for reading! See you in my next post!
