Hello, my friends! Greetings from London! Even I have been to London previously, it is still as exciting as the first time. I always love the architecture, landscape, and sense of humor London has. It also shocks me, although I shouldn’t be by now, how much dark colors the Londoners are wearing, especially the younger people.
There is no lack of colors in the shop windows and shelves, however. My overall impression of British fashion is elegant, polished, feminine with good details but not as meticulous or too free-spirited. My British style icons are Victoria Beckham and Alexa Chung. When I was browsing through Yuna Yang collection’s look book, this particular organza skirt reminded me of
them, which in turn inspired this look.
Key word for the look is see-through. Both top and skirt are of polished style but with see-through fabric. It strikes the good balance of glamour and humor. Since the top is nearly transparent, I also added a light top for additional cover up and some warmth.
A second look I want to show you here is a ruffled blouse & distressed jeans combo. The blouse is utterly romantic and feminine, while the distressed jeans are edgy and masculine. Balance of energy is accomplished when they are paired with each other, plus, don’t you find the colors combo of silver gray, light peach and off white utterly pleasant?
Same as the other two Yuna Yang designs I’ve styled before, today’s two are also of superb quality. I felt special and pampered when wearing them.
Thank you so much for reading, and my apologies if this post seems scatter-brained because it is! I wrote it over the course of three days after we were done with our busy travel agenda, and at which point, both my feet and my head were pretty beat. ;D
Thanks again for staying with me, hope you’ve enjoyed the read and styling. See you in my next post!
