Hello, my dear friends! If you have been so over the summer sales and start to prepare for the new season, I have some trend alert for you -- (fun) pleats, please! Pleated midi skirt has been gaining popularity since 2015, this season, fashionistas are no longer satisfied with simple pleats, they want more design details such as the asymmetrical, overlapping, multi-color, metallics and maybe even mixed texture and prints. Pleated skirt is no longer a vintage item you pulled from a grandma's closet, it is the new edgy and fun item to have.

In today's look, I decided to pair with another seemingly old-school but actually a very current item: sweatshirt-over-shoulder shirtdress that you see a lot in country clubs. The shirt has a newspaper print which is also a trend from the past. Two old make a brand new in this case!

To secure my acceptance to the country club, I wore a visor hat and carried a bucket bag. Don't want to appear trying too hard, however, I went with a pair of mules. Or maybe I am already a member so I no longer care to be totally meticulous? ;D
