Something Old, Something New
Hello, my dear friends! The season is changing, so is our wardrobe, why should our skincare routine stay the same? This past two weeks, however, I found myself changing routine and going back to an old favorite.
Remember this serum I reviewed last August? it is one of my favorite beauty finds of 2017, I had been using it since until early summer when I switched to a lighter lotion. When we traveled in Colorado and then Wyoming, the places we stayed in are high-altitude with dramatic temperature difference between day and night. It is much tougher on the skin than the humidity I got used to back at home, my face started to show signs of dryness and even fine lines underneath my eyes because of the low humidity with stronger sun exposure. Luckily, I have anticipated that and brought with me the Clarins Double Serum. Within a couple of days of adding it to my day and night beauty routine, my skin resumed its luster and elasticity. Those annoying underage fine lines got better, too.
Clarins Double Serum is not a miracle cream but it is pure plant-based, with extract from twenty-one skin food such as turmeric, known for its exceptional anti-aging properties, it is exactly what I needed to battle those signs of aging. As an emergency skin rescue, I also used Clarins Hydra Essential eye and lip masks at night before I use the double serum, it worked really well!
Unlike fashion trends, I'm very loyal to my beauty routine until I have to add/change something to address a new concern. I'm on my third bottle now since last August. Just a fun fact, I also gave it as a holiday gift to my MIL and sister-in-law. The serum is good for all skin types and most effective with aging skin.
It's never too late or too early to start anti-aging! Beside a good moisturizer and sunscreen, a great serum to help boost your skin is a known secret to healthy, beautiful skin. If you are interested in learning more about this one I am using, to see if it is the right fit for you, and to read reviews from many other users, check out Clarins official site. Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have!
