Inside the Farfetch Clubhouse
Hello, my dear friends! It’s been a long month since I last write more than a few sentences about fashion, now fashion month is almost over, have you been following along all the runways? This season, I didn’t watch most closely except the ones I went to myself during NYFW, and the ones I watch via friends’ Instagram stories. There is definitely some trends going on, I will come back and talk more about them in a separate post, but today I want to share a very unique & super cool experience I had during NYFW, inside the Farfetch Clubhouse.
Many of you might have heard of Farfetch , an online shopping site that allow fashion boutiques from small to big to sell to people worldwide. It’s great news to small boutiques because they will have a much wider reach onFarfetch h than the actual foot traffic they’d get locally; it’s also wonderful news for online shopper like me for I can locate more unique designs or hard-to-find color / size of popular items. Farfetch has become one of my default shopping site, I always look things up there before other place, their price points have been the lowest, too.
A few years ago, I did my first online editorial with Farfetch , back then it was styling A look with one item I purchased from the site. Starting last fall, Farfetch experimented with loaning suite for fashion influencers during NYFW, I was quite impressed then. This season, Farfetch came with a much bigger collection and in a stunning location that totally blew my mind! Seeing is believing, I hope this short video I put together will help showing you better the amazing job the Farfetch team had done during NYFW:
I felt lucky I was able to access the Farfetch Clubhouse. For the entire week, fashion influencers were able to visit the space, outfit themselves with the latest fashion for their street styles, they were also provided with a wonderful place to rest between the shows as well as a stunning space (and photographers on site) to create! The last is my favorite part of the clubhouse, I got tell a fashion story about a girl who with likes to be different, she doesn’t want to try to hard however she still want to look feminine and sophisticated. These are her takes on the latest fashion trends. With the help of a professional photographer on site, a home so beautifully decorated, and Farfetch stuff so friendly and helpful, I was able to do this editorial within a couple of hours! Without further adieu, I hope you like the looks and story:
