Hello, my dear friends! How is your summer coming along? My guess is that although we are all home-bound these days, our days still go by quickly with all the things need our attention. So, before I let you go back to zoom-ing / cleaning / baking / gardening, I just want to share a quick insight on how to navigate all the fashion sales if you are in the mood of shopping.
Usually, late June / early July is when all the retailers doing their final mark-downs. By now, popular pieces of the summer season are usually sold out, or very limited sizes left, and for fashionistas, it’s almost not worthwhile to buy current season trendy pieces on super sale, because with only a couple months of summer left, cost per wear could actually be higher. So my shopping strategy for this time of year is to find timeless designs from my favorite designer labels, styles I know I can wear from year to year without looking outdated.
The second type of sales I will look for around this time of the year, is a good discount on pre-fall or fall designs from my wish list. They just begin to populate on shopping sites, not only I can easily get my size and preferred color, I can begin to enjoy these designs without stress out my wallet too much.
Last but not least, a discount (not gift card) includes top beauty brands I love is always a good one because they rarely go on sale.
