Spring Neutrals
Hello, my dear friends! Are you ready to embrace summer? The weather has been a little ominous these days, we get rain showers every day. It seems the time has not passed for light jackets and layers. If you are not feeling all the floral and vibrant colors, and tired of black and gray, then the combination of beige, cream, white and also camel and muted pink, thinking the colors of a latte art, would be a great alternative during this time of the year.
In today's post, I was wearing a AW18 collection piece from Kage, an emerging brand I had the pleasure to review during PFW. The shape is streamlined, the fit is flattering and the fabric is luxurious. Overall, the entire collections is sophisticated and playful. Since it is a fall design, the colors of the piece is mostly dark brown but with beige/pink floral patterned waved in. For a spring look, I paired with a white cotton top, a white hat and a light beige bag, the whole look is now more light and more spring than fall.
If turtleneck is looking too heavy for the season, a cotton or silk blouse, even a mesh one, would be great alternatives for the same layered look. When paired with tops of statement sleeves like this one and this one, the whole ensemble is dressy enough for an evening function, no stiletto required.
Thank you so much for reading!
