Inspiring Outfit for Year of Tiger 2022
Happy 2022, my dear friends! If you are Asian, you probably know the festival is just beginning for over half of the world’s population celebrates Lunar New Year. In 2022 it will be February 1, that will give us about three weeks to finish up all last’s projects before the biggest holiday arrives. Sounds like a second chance, doesn’t it? I always look forward to Lunar New Year as a switching point that allows me a buffer zone of 30 days to clean up holiday messes as well as set priorities for the rest of the year.
In a previous post, I talked about Lunar New Year traditions and what I found practical while living overseas. My favorite is still wearing a brand new outfit with something red. This year, I’m styling my LNY outfit around this gorgeous new bag I just got from Mirta, an online retail site that carries the finest Italian artisans & craftsman styles that are of exceptional quality. To celebrate this special edition Elvira bag, I styled my LNY outfit with colors that compliments, tangerine and buttercup yellow. Red and yellow are very prominent colors for Lunar New Year, also 2022 is Year of Tiger, that makes orange and yellow even more appropriate for this year’s festivities. These shades I picked are a little less vibrant than the usual yellow and red you see for LNY, therefore this outfit is cheerful but polished, how do you like the look?
